IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING HYDRANT FLUSHING FALL 2023
For Water Customers Located EAST OF US 41/WICKER AVENUE
The Town of St. John has hired ME Simpson to flush the hydrants throughout the Town. For water customers located EAST OF US 41/WICKER AVENUE, hydrant flushing will begin on Monday, September 25, 2023, and will continue through Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Hydrant flushing will begin at 8:00 a.m. with flushing continuing until 3:00 p.m. during the week. For those water customers located west of US 41/Wicker Avenue, hydrant flushing will occur in 2024.
Since flushing the hydrants does cause some disturbance in the water lines, it is strongly recommended that residents refrain from doing laundry during the above-mentioned hours. Also, as a safeguard, please run your water for several minutes to make sure the water runs clear before washing clothes.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact ME Simpson at 800-255-1521.
We apologize in advance for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
