Please remember to leave your blue Republic Services cans at the curb and empty after your final Republic pickup THIS WEEK.
Republic has indicated that they will begin collecting their cans this week and will continue until all cans have been picked up. If your cans are not picked up, please contact Republic directly at (219) 310-2356.
Haven’t received your new GMI cans yet? Please don’t worry! GMI is still working through deliveries.
Your next pickup will be handled by GMI. Please use your new GMI cans for your next scheduled service:
- West Side of US 41: Friday, October 30th and then on Fridays thereafter
- East Side of US 41: Monday, November 2nd and remains on Mondays thereafter
The Town has also contacted homeowners associations (HOAs) to explain that we are in the middle of a garbage service transition and has requested that they refrain from issuing fines to residents until the transition is complete.
