Children’s Martial Arts Program
We’re excited to announce that the Northwest Indiana Martial Arts Academy is kicking off our next session.
This 8-week session is perfect for young martial artists looking to build discipline, confidence, and self-defense skills. Classes will be held on Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM at the St. John Community Center- 10216 Cline Ave.
Each new student will receive a uniform and at the end of the 8-week program, there is a graduation at the Northwest Indiana Martial Arts Academy in Schererville on June 6th.
💵Fee: $79 for the entire 8 week program.

This event will be sensory sensitive with no sirens and no horns for our first hour from 11 AM – 12pm.
The St. John Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. will be firing up the grill to serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and a drink. Prices range from $8 – $10 and all proceeds go back to the fire department. Cash Only!
✏️Young Rembrandts✏️
Young Rembrandts is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary. We believe that drawing is the bedrock skill required for future artistic success. We give students the skills to express their creativity! You’ll see increased art abilities, learning skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.

🧱⭐ELEMENTARY BRICKS 4 KIDZ⭐👷
When your child participates in a Bricks 4 Kidz class or camp, it’s not just a playtime session. It’s an investment in your child’s mind. Kids will get to build motorized models designed using LEGO® Technic Bricks. Your child will put their STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education into practice by getting hands-on exposure to various STEM concepts that strengthen and reinforce what they are already learning in school. We learn, we build, we play with LEGO® Bricks. Come build with us this summer!

🍼BLAST Babysitting Class🍼
The BLAST! (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training) Class is exciting and interactive, providing extensive training in pediatric first aid, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare. This program can prepare 11-15 year olds to interview for a babysitting job, select safe and suitable games and activities, prevent accidents, perform first aid, and begin babysitting safely and competently.
