| Construction on this multi-use path project is expected to begin within the next two weeks, weather permitting. Beginning in July and continuing through November, Joliet Street will be closed, local traffic & emergency traffic only, for the duration of the project. Please plan ahead and use the posted detour route shown on the map below. To help improve traffic flow and enhance safety during the closure, a temporary 3-way stop will also be installed at the intersection of Hart Street and 93rd Avenue. This project will enhance safety for pedestrians and motorists, improve drainage, and provide a longer-lasting roadway. While the temporary closure may be inconvenient, these improvements will help reduce future maintenance needs and improve travel throughout the area for years to come.
