Construction on this multi-use path project is underway. Due to material delivery delays, two significant storm events and utility-related delays this summer, the project timeline has been extended into early summer 2027. To avoid leaving unsafe open stone trenches through the winter, Dyer Construction will spend the next couple of weeks preparing the section between Hart St. and Parrish Ave. to safely reopen to traffic. A shorter detour will remain in place while work continues between Industrial Dr and Hart St. Work between Industrial Dr and Hart St will continue through the remainder of the construction season and is expected to be completed before the winter shutdown.

This project will enhance safety for pedestrians and motorists, improve drainage, and provide a longer-lasting roadway. While the temporary closure may be inconvenient, these improvements will help reduce future maintenance needs and improve travel throughout the area for years to come.
