Sanitary District Meeting Minutes 2018

1. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m., with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. ROLL CALL

In attendance were Patricia Sims-Smerciak, Kenneth Gembala, Rob Kmetz, Richard Setlak, Steve Kil and Michael Forbes. Absent Frank Bradtke, President and David Austgen, Town Attorney.

3. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES

Ms. Smerciak entertained a motion to approve the December 19, 2017 meeting minutes. Mr. Setlak so moved. Seconded by Mr. Gembala. Motion carried.

4. NEW BUSINESS

Cender and Cender Company Mr. Kil reported that this is the exact same agreement except the principal went up $5.00. Mr. Gembala entertained a motion to approve the agreement. Mr. Setlak seconded. Motion carried.

Mr. Kil reported that Lift Station One is complete. Soon we will be completing the Sanitary and Water Works financial report. Both utilities are in a very good cash position.

5. PAYMENT OF BILLS

Mr. Setlak brought up a question on a line item for the Payroll for the Sanitary Department/Commissioners as to how it was broken down. After some discussion Mr. Kil said since he would see to it that he gets the information to him.

Ms. Smerciak entertained a motion to approve the bills in the amount of $34,069.19. Mr.Gembala so moved. Seconded by Mr. Setlak. Motion carried.

Mr. Bradkte entertained a motion to approve the January 23, 2018 meeting minutes. Mr. Kmetz so moved. Ms. Smerciak seconded. Motion carried.

6. PAYMENT OF BILLS

Mr. Bradtke entertained a motion to approve the bills in the amount of $24,254.80. Ms. Smerciak so moved. Seconded by Mr. Kmetz. Motion carried.
